I need help with business license information.?

I have my ficticious business name already but I don't know if I need a sales permit and I do not know how to get a wholesale number. I am basically going to try and sell my photos and turn them into greeting cards.I would like to sell these throughout my county (Orange County,Ca) but do not know what the next step should be. Please help

That will come from your states revenue department.  You need to file for a sales tax application.  That will get your state tax ID (this is what people call "wholesale number")
