  1. never underestimate the power of youtube when learning a new skill or improving one you have. Watch different cheer jump videos and try to do it like the girls in the videos.

make sure you point your toes because for some reason i stopped and my jumps got a lot higher but they aren't as pretty as they used to be

  2. Stretch Stretch Stretch!!! it will help you in the most amazing ways with all your jumps!

    Toet Touchs

to stop slouching, practice looking up at a fixed point. slightly above where an slightly tall standing persons head would be. just dont point your chin up. also, have someone hold your back when your jump and hae them slightly lift you. that way you can focus on straightening your back and your feet placement.  remember that you dont wanna bring your hands to your feet, which is another thing people do during a toe touch. To work on your feet try not bringing them straight up to the side, but kinda forward so you can see your feet in the corner of youreyes. From the front no one can tell the difference and your in better control of your legs!

    Pike.

this takes a lot of practice, stretching and disapline. to stretch, sit and put your feet straight out in front of you and not only reach for your (pointed) toes, but put your elbows on the ground at the same time and your head against your legs. if you cant do that, have someone push you down until you can really feel a good stretch. When your jumping, remember to bring your legs up to your arms, not the other way around!

    Hurdler.

To stretch, lay i the form of the jump while you are on the ground. reach forward past the l shape your legs make and then lay back so your back is on the ground. do this on both legs. the jump is hard to perfect just remember table tops! no one likes saggy legs.

to get higher to workouts of your abs, thighs, butts especially (helps with the push off) ankles and calfs. they help you the most but also arm and back muscles let you think less about your arm placement so work that too

    have fun! good luck

  3. First of all, remember to always always always keep your back straight! That makes your jumps look a lot cleaner. To get your jumps higher, just work on leg muscles and core muscles. You can do leg lifts, sit ups, and other workouts when you do your conditioning. Just working on those things can improve them a lot. Hope I could help!!
