  1. These are both acid base reactions.

    1. H2SO4(aq) + Ba(CH3COO)2(aq) --> BaSO4(aq) + 2CH3COOH(aq)

        strong acid + weak base --> weak acid

    2. NH4Cl(aq) + NaOH(aq) --> NH3(aq) + NaCl(aq) + H2O(l)

        weak acid + strong base --> weak base

    Just remember this:

    strong acid + weak base --> weak acid

    weak acid + strong base --> weak base

    weak acid + weak base --> salt + water (neutral solution)

    strong acid + strong base --> salt + water (neutral solution)

  2. Are you just writing the equations?

    1. H2SO4 + Ba(CH3COO)2 --> BaSO4 + 2CH3COOH

    Barium sulfate will precipitate, and acetic acid will just be in solution

    2. NH4Cl + NaOH ---> Na+ + Cl- + NH4+ + OH-

    none of the products above will crystallize, so they will just float around in solution
