I need help with choosing my gcse's?

right im in my summer holidays and when i go back gcse progress starts as im going into year 10 :)

but .. i choose media,art &dance for my gcse's. but i wanna swap dance for p.e ,but im quite fat but im really good at most sports but i cant run + my mates tell me that u dont have to run you pick 4 sports you wish 2do but iknow there must be some running involved! but i rele enjoy p.e but this running situation is really putting me off please suggest what ishould do + if your a student whos done pe gcse tell me all about it please! or tell me how ican make myself run alot faster.

  1. i really dont' think the running issue shoudl stop you from doing what you enjoy. plus sports isn't all about running anyway.

    if PE is kinda like sports studies, then there is a theory section to it, which is regardless of your sporting ability


  2. I didn't take GCSE PE, but I'm friends with people who did.

    It has a lot of theory work in it, so you have to know about the muscles and things. If you enjoy sports, go for it. I think you have to make an exercise/fitness programme for yourself. But yeah, you get to pick what sports you do, I think.

    As long as you don't get injured easily, you'll be fine for GCSE PE. My friend broke her toe a week before her physical exams...

  3. do wat you enjoy and PE is not all about running you could be good at shot-put or trampolining der is alot more to PE den running  

  4. I never did PE to GCSE, but I'm sure there is the coursework side to it as well and it's not all about physical. It involves knowing other things and the biology sort of side to it. I guess most sports do also involve running, but if you enjoy PE then it's up to you.
