I need help with eyeliner?

Question

i normally put eyeliner on my bottom of my eyelid, but it normally comes off in about an hour. is this normal?

also i want to put it ontop of eyelid but it looks silly when i do it. it doesnt look like its actually on the part its suppose to be on.

why is this? any tips.

(and i use regular eyeliner not liquid)

Yeah, try getting an angled liner brush and brush on a dark shade of purple or black. it it wont fade as fast ( if you use good shadow)

and on the top lid, try putting it on the "inside" of your eyelashes. Thats when y ou pull your eyelid up a bit so it curls upward, and put eyeliner right beneath or on the lashline.

not usually. try a different eyeliner. it might be the one your using.

yeahh, it does most of the time. but if you want your eyelashes to look full, put the eyeliner underneath the eyelid, like right under the eyelashes to make them look fuller. and darker, if thats what your looking for :]

eye liner is tricky.  I used to never be able to put it on my top and make it look right, but over they yrs I got it down.  You just need to practice I guess.  When I was in HS and I was home and bored with nothing to do I would do my makeup and try out different techniques from magazines and such.  I must say it helped because now I am pretty good at it, and know what works for me.  

If you buy a better quality eyeliner it will stay on longer.  I wouldn't recommend liquid eyeliner because personally I think it looks too fake.  Also, try really hard not to rub your eyes.

As far as applying eye make up....

Draw a line as close to your lash line as possible (half of the line should actually be on the lash line) starting on the outside going in.  You will probably have to go over the line a few times to make sure it is even and smooth.  Next apply a darker eyeshadow on the crease of your eyelid, and a lighter shade all over your eyelid.  BLEND the colors with your finger.  The eyeshadow will help to softer the look of the liner, helping it to look more natural.  

If it helps, when putting eyeliner on the top of your eye, kinda stretch your eyelid so the skin is tight....you get a better line.  Use either black or dark brown eyeliner.

do you wear eye shadow? if you do, put eyeliner then eyeshadow.

on the bottom, do you pull down your eyelid and put it on? if you do not only does it come of fast, it can infect your eye.

put it on under your eyelashes.

maybe you should try using the liquid eyeliner. I use it, and it stays on all day long. About it not looking good on top, you should just keep on practicing with it. When I used regular eyeliner, it never looked right, because it didn't go on right. I suggest using Revlon liquid eyeliner. I hope I was some help to you!

1st of all its not normal for it to come off that easily maybe ur wearing a cheap eyeliner or something  but any eyeliner will come off if u put it right in ur eye like its hard to explain but u dunt put eyeliner on ur botton lid right inside of it ..its bad for ur eyes too and the wetness from ur eyes will make it come off

and about ur top lid y does it look like its not in the right spot well this happend to me to b4 i learned how to put in on...ur soppse to put the eyeliner right up against ur eyelashes..even if u get some on ur eyelashes its okay but put it right up aginst it lol

you might want to buy the smudge and waterproof eye liner as for the top eye i have the same problem and i still cant figure out how to fix it.
