I need help with fanfiction.net?

Question

i need to know how to renew one of my stories, or if i even have to or what's up with that.

cuz all i know is that the life on one of my fics is -1,

so what should i do?

Do you mean the life of your "document" in the 'documents' section?  I'm not familiar with any other section on FF.net that has a running 'life' meter on it.  As long as your chapters are posted, you don't need to worry about the life in the documents section, your chapters won't become 'unposted.'  It just means that the document won't be available to edit online anymore - as long as you still have a copy saved to your computer, you're fine - you can even re-post it if you really want to, but again, not necessary.
