  1. If you want traditional, try "red light green light", "mother may I", Duck Duck Goose, hide and go seek, hot potato

    Hen and Chicks

Have two safe points such as trees some distance apart.

One person is in the middle as the Hen trying to round up her chicks.

When she calls for her chicks all the little chicks run from one point to the other while the mother hen tries to catch them.

If they are caught they have to stay in the middle and help mother hen.  The last chick caught gets to be the hen for the next round.

Idea- Change it to what ever animal you want to fit a theme

  2. hot strip poker. lol jk. well why don't you go for the usual like musical chairs and maybe a scavenger hunt.

  3. if your 2-year-old is going through the clinging, make-the-world go away stage, invite a few much-beloved relatives over for a simple celebration of cake and ice cream.

If your child is more the party animal, and you're sure they will love all the attention, invite a few kids and their parents over for a party blowout complete with your two-year-old's favorite theme such as Dora the Explorer, Big Bird, Elmo, Teletubbies or Blues Clues.

Structure is not as important at this age as the fact that everyone should be having a good time, and the messier the better! Keep the party short to avoid a house full of cranky toddlers, and extra help with supervision is always advisable if you have more than three or four in attendance.

My sister just had a 2 year old birthday party in a park. The two hits were:

    - spraybottles with water in it (adjust them so they make mist)

    - a popup firetruck (to walk in), a tent or a tunnel would h! ave done the same job

If you want to have a moment where they all do something together, just play ''Ring around the rosie'' or ''Hokey pokey'' or such. My nephew enjoyed the long afternoon of party well into the evening. One expection was the moment where everyone's attention suddenly centered on him: the cake and candles. Have fun,

  4. Anything with kids music is great, you know like alvin and the chipmunk songs or something like that.  My daughter is 1 and we went to a birthday party for a 3 yr old and she stood around watching and wagging her little bum about to the music! :o)  I stood by her though because I was afraid the older kids would trample all over her.

You could have a pinyada for the older kids and musical chairs and things.  I would probably try to separate the older kids from the smaller kids, incase the older kids get excited and hyper and trample the smaller ones with running about.

Pass the parcel is something simple for the younger ones.  Or a dancing competition.  Or something like, everyone dances and when the music stops you have to sit down, and the last one to sit down is out, etc.  :)

  5. make and decorate cookies. kids love cookies

  6. Party games may be difficult with the younger ones but you could always have an adult with those ones. Musical bumps always goes down well in our house. It's where they dance to music and when the music stops they sit on the floor. You could always have a dancing competition. Or follow the leader. Or Simon says. Or pass the parcel. Pin the tail on the donkey should be an easy one.

    Have fun.

  7. you could do a treasure hunt, for example, all the older kids in the garden so you can put things in really hard places and all the little ones in the living room where the prize's can be more obvious.

give the 11 year old some responsibility for the games too, like they could organise a game of hide and seek or following the leader (choosing teams etc)

pass the parcel is a game everyone loves in my opinion!

    musical statues

  8. pillow passing, chits which tells u what to do, andmae some few gifts as reward.
