  1. Your slump may be because you put too much expectation on yourself trying to succeed like you did earlier. Maybe hitting isn't your thing. You can still help out the team with good defense and timely hitting. It doesn't matter how many hits you get it's when you get them.

  2. Work on hitting the ball the other way.  Once you start doing that, everything else just falls in line.  If you talk with a batting coach, that's the first thing they'd have you do.  Try hitting the ball to the opposite field and I guarantee that once that starts happening you'll naturally come out of that slump.

  3. practice a lot, and go to wikihow.com, and search how to be a better baseball player, it'll help a lot.

  4. The first thing is when your on deck watch the pitcher notice where he delivers the ball from see if he tips his pitches. Second try using a lighter bat you can generate more bat speed or if you dont want to use a lighter bat try choking up on it and the last thing is have fun its baseball

  5. Repetitions are what make good hitters great hitters and bad hitters good hitters. You need to practice and keep practicing. Another thing is you need to stop worrying about your slump. The more you worry the more tense you are at every at bat and the harder you try and you just got to believe that you know what you're doing and can get a hit. I was at one point 1 for 17 this past season and all of the sudden I went 4-4. Why? I don't really know but I'm pretty sure it's because I QUIT WORRYING.

  6. Start with a batting tee..work on a smooth, level swing with proper balance and weight shift. Concentrate on keeping your head still and focused on the ball. Do that everyday for a month hitting about 50 balls each day. Next go to the batting cages and do the same thing you have been doing, except now with a moving ball.
