Question:

I need help with helping my sisters eat healthy?

ok so i take care of my sisters alot im like their 2nd mom and i feel like they eat too much junk food and i want then to at least eat healthy you know what i mean? everyday after they come home from school they eat or at least a few hours after they come home they eat and then they go out and play for a while then they come back inside help me out around the house and then they do their homework and i try to get them to bad by 9... anyways.... i would like at least a list of things like fruits and and maybe sncks i could give them that wont take me long to make or to give to them... and their about 10 and 9

  1. Put out a bowl of fresh fruit and some celery and carrot strips with peanut butter and ranch dressing to dip them in. Make sure there is no junk food in the house.


  2. Put peanut butter on celery stalks!  Its sweet, crunchy, and has protein!  Its a great snack, especially for picky kids.

    theres the typical..like bananas and grahm crackers, fruit, ect..

    go to kraft.com..they give you alot...

  4. have you tried giving them dryed fruit.  They are healthy and tastes good.  Also try giving them cranraisains  they are good by the handful.  Fruit is always a good snack and it is healthy.

  5. Any fruit!  It's sweet enough for kids to eat!

    Real fruit smoothies

    Wheat crackers with low fat cheese

    Wheat bread and peanut butter

    Ants on a log- celery covered with peanut buter with raisons on top

    Vegetables can be tough to eat but with low cal ranch dressing they become so much better! Carrots, tomatos, and broccoli taste the best

    Mixed nuts

    Yogurt (they have all different types of flavors)

    Low sugar pudding snack cups
