  1. Okay, if you find a college you like, you need to go to their site.

They will tell you exactly what high school classes are needed.

Also, www.facts.org will tell you about your state's colleges and exactly which credits you need to go to that college.

They have your transcripts and everything right on the computer, you just have to sign up.

I know that here in Florida, you can get from 18 (3 years in high school) to 24 (all four years) credits. But, if you have less than that, colleges won't take you.

Most colleges, you'll find, requires 2 foreign language credits, 3-4 English credits, 3 Social Sciences, 2 regular Sciences, one being a science that involves lab experiments, and 3 maths.

It all also depends on what you major in. For example, if you want to be a chemist, you'll want to have as many science credits as possible. If you want to be a math teacher, you'll need to take the highest level maths and as many of THOSE as possible.... get it?

    Hope it helps.

  2. Yes, your high school's counseling staff.

The requirements vary from state to state and college to college.

  3. To find out what classes you need to finish to graduate high school, talk to your high school advisor. He or she will know everything.

As for which classes you need for college, it depends on what you want to major in. If your major is going to be Psychology, it would be a good idea (but not required) to have a few Psychology classes under your belt.

You don't need any classes from high school to go to college, really. Just get your high school diploma, and that'll usually be enough.
