i need help with house hold goods

i am moving from a 2 bed flat to a 3 bed house because my daughter has a.s.d (autisum) and needs her own room, we went private what cost us 1,200 for the first months rent and deposit so we cant afford new furniture we need a new sofa fridge freezer washing machine paint and other house hold goods the problem is i am moving in in 4 weeks and we have no money/savings can anyone help or give us advice???

  1. It depends on where you are.

    If you are near London go to www.gumtree.com and look on the freebies section, there is always stuff being given away on there.

    Chartiy shops also sometimes have furniture etc.

    google for your nearest freecycle, I got loads of stuff from mine.


  2. Come over to the UK...we'll give you everything.  Failing that, join the Freecycle network...lots of lovely people giving stuff away for nothing rather than chucking it in landfill.  Ask and it will be given.

  3. Contact your local council. Some councils have furniture donated just for people like you.

  4. Try http://www.uk.freecycle.org/  theres loads of free household goods etc on there, my daughter has just recently "given away" an £1100 3 pce leather suite because she was unable to sell it. People in your area list things they no longer want or cant sell, i think you should stand a good chance getting what you want on there!!
