I simply want to add my pictures (not of myself) to my profile page on Howrse, anyone know how? It says: Warning, an error has occurred:

The description you wrote cannot be posted for one of the following reasons:

HTML tags are incorrect

HTML tags are unauthorised

If this error occurs, you probably tried to edit your sheet using HTML. Please be careful with your text format!

I don't know what to do. I need serious help. If you can help me and you think it would be easier to tell me step by step via Ymessanger, just leave me your address and I will Im you.

  1. Would have been nice to have a link to howrse as there are too many listed on Google.

If HTML Tags are unauthorized, you may not have HTML turned on if there is a Settings page for your account.  Otherwise, you may have to use BBCode to add images:

    [img]URL Path to Image[/img]

and not use the HTML way with the <img src="" alt=""> tag.

  2. You need the code: <img src="url">

    For you're picture to appear,..otherwise it won't!

And you also need to have the Picture you want to have on you're own "File Manager" for you're site.

To get the URL to you're picture on you're Desktop, you will need to upload it to an image hosting site like "Flickr" or "Photobucket".

Once pics have been uploaded, you will be given URL/IMG/Background codes etc for you to use on other sites,..like you're own website for example.

The picture has to have a source from were it can get you're image from.

  3. Well that definitely sounds like some coding is wrong. If you need to you can email me your code and I can look at it and fix it up for you.
