I need help with itunes and the apps?

okay so i am getting my ipod touch saturday and i was down loading some free apps and they were fine but now they arent showing up in itunes.

i dont know what to do.

i tried downloading another one the bring it back up but it didnt work.

so i need major help!

hmm, they should be showing up under a file for them thats labeled Applications.  its in the same place as music, movies, tv shows, podcasts, etc.  maybe to get these apps to show you need to download the software that is needed to use them if you havent gotten it already.  its the 2.0 software and its $9.99 but you cannot use store credit to purchase this just to let you know in advance.  if this doesnt work try calling apple or going to the nearest apple store to you to ask whats going on.  also, wait till you get your ipod touch and when you sync it they might show up on the ipod even though they are not on your itunes.  sorry if this is too long lol but i hope i helped. :)

Be sure you are downloading these applications from the real Ipod websites: apple.com or itunes.com. Sometimes people make "fake applications" for your itunes, and they can either make viruses or make itunes not work.

If you are downloading them from the proper websites, I'd try uninstalling and reinstalling the software. And if that doesn't work, I know Itunes has this thing where you need to restart your computer in order for it to work properly.

Okay, go open up your iTunes, and go to the top where it says "Edit"

then click on preferences.

go into general and make sure at the top the list of things where it says "movies, music, tv episodes" has apps checked off.

if there isn't a place where it says Apps, you're probably gonna have to update your iTunes library here:

http://www.apple.com/downloads/  

or here on the right where it says "the latest in iTunes" http://www.apple.com/itunes/

you may still need to re-download the Apps
