I need help with land hermit crabs?

Question

i might get one if i get a land hermie

if i pass 600% on a SOL(yeah i am only ten)i get 2 hermies for each 600% i get on my SOL's and i am wondering how many wold be good for a ten gallon tank.I have a list of supplies to get and i am wondering what shape of a tank i should get.i know all the info i just need a little more help.my mom wants me to use my brother's old fish tank that is only like five gallons.but i think i can convince her to get a 10 gallon tank.Right now i came to a total of about $86 for the supplies and the hermies.i am going to petsmart or petco(i know some people hate them but if they die only a little while later i am going to complain).add any more info if you want.

i have a 10 gallon tank for my 2 hermit crabs and 2 coconut huts they love those, i also have a water dish and sand as subsrate there very easy to take care of. and for every gallon you can have 2 gallons you can have 1 hermit crab i think , so you could have 5

yes a 10 gallon is correct and you can start with two hermit crabs and then get two more and that would be enough for a ten gallon

1. DO NOT EVER BUY HERMIT CRABS AT FAIRS!!!

(they may look innocent at first but they die the next day)

2. get your supplies at pet smart and hermit crabs at petco they should have a huge tank in the middle of the store full of them:)

3. use reptile dirt and sprinkle sand over it dont fill it with sand they cand dig that easily.
