  1. Lot's of luck that is all I can say. I am disabled, have worked every chance I could all my life. I gave to United Way working. Laid off I could get no help. It's more the mentality promoted by the Bush administration the last seven years than anything else. I do know when I go back to work I won't give to United Way again. We were always told it would be there for us if we got in a jam. That it was needed now by others. I learned....It is not history, but I hope this administration and this way of thinking will be soon....

  2. Family,Friends, relatives to the children, start a car wash, garage sale, walk dogs, babysit,do something,i was once in you shoes in New York too.

  3. What does this have to do with history?

  4. In addition to the friends, family suggestion, you can try to make arrangements with the utility company.  Some of them have special provisions for deducting some of the bill if there is a disability involved and/or low income.

    Good luck,

    Tex
