Complete the square:

x^2=-5x+5

Solve the inequality algebraically. Write the solution in interval notation.

|2+2x|-3 >4

What is interval notation? If you guys can explain the steps then that would be nice :)

  1. i think the second answer is...

    2+2x-3>4

      +2     +2

    2x-3>6

       +3 +3

    2x>9

divide by 2 on both sides

    2x>9= 5

    2    2= 5

    so x>5

  2. Oh wow sorry i don't know algebra:(lol

where doing that kind of stuff also but alittle different:)

  3. x^2 = -5x + 5

First you need to get everything on one side so that it equals 0

    (add 5x to each side)

    (minus 5 from both sides)

    x^2 +5x -5 = 0
