I need help with math?

The problem:

4m1=m2 [except the 1 and 2 after the m's are small and to the bottom of m] it asks: Which is the greater mass, m1 or m2? I'm not sure what this even means, how to solve, or how to answer. If someone could explain this as well as show me the work or process to solving, I would be truly thankful. Thank you =]

  1. m2 has greater mass than m1

Since it takes 4 times m1 that basically means m2 is bigger...

    Hope that helped

  2. This isn't really a math problem. It just means

4 times the mass of the first is equal to the second mass

Obviously m2 has a bigger mass because it is 4 times bigger than the first mass.

    So the answer is m2
