  1. Depending on what the ISP uses for sync. The modems are typically set for the following

    ->VP: 0 /VC: 35

    ->ATM LLC (1483)

    ->PPPoE

    You would need to find out what encapsulation the ISP uses as well as the VP/VC they accept traffic on from customers, as well as what protocol (DHCP,PPPoE, PPPoE-Static, Static, etc..)

  2. During set up, you get to choose between (1) existing ATT customer or (2) no previous ATT service, I'm a new customer.  You'd choose #2 and go through the steps to set up a new account.  You'll get a new SBC-Yahoo-ATT email account.

  3. You may try to disconecct your ISP, then conect the modem and it is software to be instaled, then run your ISP sotftware, so they cnfigured how to conect your modem, and may they work toguether, some times ither end need a static IP adress, that only the two providers can tell you one is att.com, that other one it just vanished of my maind.
