I need help with my CD DRIVE!?

i want to change my cd drive to an dvd and they selling me an hp is it going to work if i have an ibm desktop and the disc drive is an hp (they have the same connections!)

  1. Most any DVD or CD player will work in any type of desktop computer.  However, watch out for some of the systems that have doors that open before the disc tray pops open as they might cause you problems.


  2. should work alright, as long as you get the driver disc with the dvd drive
