I need help with my Definitive super cube?

I just bought a Definitive Supercube 3 for my home theter system. I have it hooked up to a sony DA3300ES amplifier. The problem is that it will not turn on when I switch the amplifier to any of the HDMI outputs or video outputs. The only time it will play is when i am playing a DVD on my blueray player. If someone could give me some help I would appreciate it.

Page 58 of the manual explains how to set the sub with hdmi inputs. Each input can be set differently. The link to the manual is below.

If that doesn't do it, Make sure the stanby feature on the sub is off and that it's set to on all the time.
