  1. I'm not sure what your question is, so without more information, I can't answer. One tip might be to review the chapter in which this was discussed. Another tip would be to call a friend and ask if he or she took notes during class.

    A third idea would be to look in your textbook--I assume you have it at home--and see if there is a companion website to the book that you can access.

    A fourth is--if you can find an open library - to phone a reference librarian.

    Are there any terms or definitions in the particular problem or in sections close by? Make sure you know the meaning of them. That may help you decide how you have to solve the problem.

    Also, you can ask the teacher for an out-of-class conference to explain the problem. Most teachers appreciate the chance to "re-teach" a concept. Good luck.


  2. I'm not sure what your question is either.  However, in the top row the number increase by one and in the bottom row the number increase by a number that increases in size by one more each time.  That is

    10 + 4 = 14

    14 + 5 = 19

    19 + 6 = 25

    Therefore, 25 + 7 = 32 should be the next number in the pattern
