I need help with my Hair!!! Dandruff problems??

Question

I wash my hair everyday.. WIth pantene a shampoo brand. However i still have dandruff. Should i be using a different shampoo?? i heard pantene was good. Or is it just for girls??? Head and shoulders?

I think you should try head and shoulders but I know a girl at my school who has extremely bad dandruff and its a very bad skin problem which is something you might want to talk to your doctor about.

I use Wen by Chaz Dean.  It is a cleansing conditioner, not a shampoo.  It cleans though it is very gentle.  There are different formulations for different hair types.  I love it, but it is kind of expensive.  I would think though that it wouldn't dry your scalp.  It might be worth a try.  You can get it through Chaz Dean's web site or you can go through Amazon.  Good luck.

My hairdresser recently told me that many people think they have dandruff when what they have is actually dry scalp....I'd try a dandruff shampoo for a while, and if the dandruff persists, you might try switching to a moisturizing shampoo...

Otherwise, you may wish to consult a dermatologist...especially if it is time for a mole/skin cancer check.

apply castor oil and sesame oil mixed together for 20 min  this helps in the growth of the hair. and  also apply curd mixed with lemon juice before washing hair  it will make ur hair shiny and softens them and a good remedy for dry scalp and frizziness

Try Neutrogena T-Gel.

Wash it first with Head and Shoulders, then Neutrogena T-Gel, then whatever conditioner you use. But try to leave the T-Gel on for 2-5 minutes.

My son has a bit of a flaky scalp problem too.  Best thing to clear it up is Polytar shampoo.  It's medicated and works a treat.  Use it once or twice a week and for other days use Head n Shoulders 2in1.
