  1. Open the flap on the front of the wii and open the battery door on the controller turn on the wii. Press syn on the wii and on the remote . that should do it.

  2. Everyone seems to ask this question.

All you need to do is sync the remote with the wii.

There are 2 ways to do this: Permanent, and Temporary.

The one you need to do is sync it permanently but i will tell you both to help you if you need to do this in the future.

Permanent- Turn on your wii and get your remote ready. Go up to the wii and open up the cover on the front of the wii (the cover that is under the power and reset buttons.) Then on the remote, take off the battery cover. Now there should be 2 red buttons, one on the wii under the cover, and one ion the remote, under the battery cover. Push the one on the wii first and then push the one on the remote. The remote will flash for a bit and will eventually sync. If this doesn't seem to work, try pushing the red button on the remote first and then the red button on the wii.

You should do this whenever you buy a new remote.

Temporary- To sync temporarily, you simply get a remote that has been previously synced and go to the wii menu. Then push the home button on the remote. Then you click wii remote options at the bottom. Then "Add remote". Then you push the 1 and 2 buttons at the same time, the remote will flash and then will become synced.

This is usefull when a friend comes over and you want to sync it for the day.

This is also all in the manual that came with your wii so if you ever forget, look in there.

Hope this helps and good luck.

  3. You need to to synch the remote.

-Remove the battery cover on the back of the remote and press and release the red SYNC button inside the cover. The lights on the front of the remote will blink.

-Open the SD card slot cover on the front of the Wii console and press and release the red SYNC button also.

-When the lights on the front of the remote stop blinking, your remote is synched. The light that is illuminated indicates the player number.
