I need help with my XBOX 360?

I have this xbox 360 and it has been down in my basement for a couple iof monthgs and i brought it upstairs and my family got me a new game for it and then i tried to put it in but its starts up but it only goes to the pages on the xbox360 that says sign in and others stuff. and on the very bottom it says "Open Tray" , I need to know whats wrong with it!

If it's just with that one disc, get it buffed or re-surfaced at a game shop, mine did the same and that worked but it was just with a scratched Halo 3 disc.

try other games if it works return that game and get other copi its defected if both games call microsoft
