I need help with my algae eater please help me?

Question

ok so I bought an algae eater from WalMart yesterday, it's not a Pleco or a chinese algae eater I forgot what the lady called it but it started with an S. anyways he keeps swimming in-between the back glass of the tank and the filter tube. the last algae eater always stayed there and eventually died. yesterday he was was swimming all over the tank but today he's just sitting there, why is he there?, is he going to die?, should I quarantine him?

it is a simiese algae eater also called the chinese algae eater

as long as your water conditions are ok he should be fine young algae eaters even pelco's are very sinsitive to water conditions

give him some places to hide mine spends all day in a coconut cave and comes out at night

is it a Siamese algae eater

it is not the same thing as a Chinese algae eater

the Siamese is less aggressive
