can anyone re-word the following for me? My assignment is due in a few hours and i have bearly done anything. thank you.

"High-bypass-ratio engines combined with the wing design help make the 757 one of the quietest, most fuel-efficient jetliners in the world. The engines have large-diameter fans that move more air outside and around the hot core, boosting efficiency while reducing noise. Noise containment is further aided by acoustic linings in the engine nacelles. Engines are available from Pratt & Whitney or Rolls-Royce in thrust ratings from 36,600 (162.8 kilonewtons) to 43,500 pounds (193.8 kilonewtons). When compared to any single-aisle jetliner in service today, the 757 is unsurpassed in fuel-efficiency. It consumes up to 43 percent less fuel per seat than older trijets.

  1. basically, go to wikipedia

  2. u can add this..hiby pass ratio 75% air goes around the core rest 25% taken in  to the core of the engine.80% thrust comes from the turbine fan and rest from the core.r/r uses 3 spool and pw used dual spool......long duct used by the r/r is qiueter comparing to the short duct engine. in the long duct the hot air from thr core and the cold air tsreem mixes in the long exhaust duct which is also well isulated ..before released to the atmosphere..this make the enginr quieter.. the sound is suppressed in the duct before exit....the short ductm is lighter but the hot air and cold air streem meet out side and the energy exchange and the friction produces some noise ....anyway 757 production is stopped to make way to the jet liner 787..

  3. you failed, the 757 is a 30 year old Un-efficient gas hog commonly known as a Rocket. most airlines are retiring them and purchasing the 787 or A350 as its replacement
