I need help with my bedroom decor!!?

Question

It has hot pink walls and pink curtains. I hate it. In the afternoon my room has this weird orange-pink glow to it.

I have black and pink bed sheets and not much on the walls. How to i tone down the color of the walls wiht out painting again??

And i'm asking for those horizontal blinds so i can get rid of the glow hopefully!

But really someone help, i want maybe a vintage-retro look to it but i am only 13 so my parents are going to pay so the cheaper the better :)

nice artwork on the walls would really help. get new cutains. black would be okay, since it would match ur sheets. yu could get some cool stuff to put on ur walls, like maybe little decals and do them in a dark color so they don't reflect light oddly. OR use some stencils. they're easy to use, and you can get them in almost anything u want, floers, hearts, stars, u name it. i have wings hangin on my wall from halloween, they look awesome. they're in my other room though, my badroom's rather plain. my other one has tons of posters and missalious things up all over it, from posters to ings to geisha fans and a couple of kites, and a ghost and little flying things, with blow up things on the ceiling. i have my bunny in there and my kitty's food and litter box is in there, with my books and stuff on a giant bookshelf. so all that i have in here is a few posters and my bed and computer. but you could show ur interest... u collect anything? i used to have all my hats hanging up in here.

Try hanging some framed, black and white photography on the walls for a nice toned-down contrast. I would also suggest some light-colored, flowing sheers over the blinds to add a less intense look and feel to the whole place. Also, since the walls are so intense, swap your bedding for something neutral (maybe white with some pretty black accents). You could also go to an antique store for some cool, vintage furniture accents, like a bedside table or bookshelf. The price will be a bit lower there, too, if you find the right deals. Good luck!
