I need help with my boyfriends family

Im having trouble with my boyfriends family. We have been going out for a long time now. He mainly comes over my house because he lives with his grandparents and his mom and dad so the house is kinda crowded where he lives. Never have i once felt comfortable going over his house. All of his family makes me very nervous! I never think that anyone likes me, and i dont think that his family likes me. So for about a little under a year i havnt gone over his house. Though we only see each other once a week so its not like he comes over my house everyday. What should i do? How would i know if his family likes me? Does anyone have any suggestions or advice?

Its always nerve racking spending time with your partners family to begin with. As nervous as you are talking to them, they're probably nervous talking to you to. In this case, you need to bite the bullet and just go over there and hang out with them from time to time. You really have nothing to lose. And if you see a potential future for this relationship, you're going to have to get to know his family at some point.

Umm I have had something like this happen to me before and I felt really bad cuz I thought they didnt like me , here is a trick that worked for me. I first asked my boyfriend what his parents thought about me. He said that they didnt really know me . I began to think maybe they feel like I dont like them. I asked my boyfriend  what there parents intrests are, he told me that htey really like going to the Mariner's game. Next time I went over to his parents house, I talked with them about baseball and the Mariner's, a subject that they feel comfortable on.after that it seemed like we were all more comfortable around eachother once we knew eachother better. hope I helped
