  1. you can buy the stuff to get those swirles out of the paint. auto zone sells it.

  2. you need to take your car to a paint or detail shop and have it buffed

  3. The light scratches are what we call paint swirl marks and marring. It results from improper car washing and exposure to the environment. First thing I would do is give it a thorough wash using Dawn; this will break down most contaminates and strip layers of previous waxes. Rinse and Dry. Now you must clay the car, I recommend a moderate grade clay; this will lift microscopic contaminates from the paint/clear coat. Next, great ready to polish. Tape off any plastic vinyl trim to prevent marking them. Using either rotary or random orbital, use Menzerna Super Intensive Polish with a yellow pad. Afterwards follow through using Menzerna PO106FA with either a white or orange pad depending on how severe the left over halo's are. Finally once the paint is free over swirls, use sealant and/or wax to protect the paint from the weather.

  4. I had mine taken to a local body shop.  Did you want to fix it yourself?  It didn't cost much and in the end it was a much better deal.
