Okay thanks everybody for helping me with Ginger and Molly. Now! I can't get Molly out from under the bed! Others who didn't read my other question, here is the story:

I recently got a cat from my friend who moved away and the cat Molly has been in torcher with screaming kids for about 5 years and the kids couldn't even get help from nanny 911. So I decided to get the cat. Anyways, the cat is very shy and when I feed her food she won't eat it.

So my question is....

HOW DO I GET OUT HER OUT FROM UNDER THE BED? I'm not going to hit her and she's been hiding sense I got her. The only time I petted her is when she was on my mom bf's bed until my dog chased it away.

  1. keep the cat away from the dog. Right now it's scared and doesn't know what/why he was taken from its previous owners. If possible, keep the cat in the room with the door closed. Keep food, water and litter box nearby. When she is ready, she will slowly come out and checkout her new surroundings. This may take several days, weeks. You need to make sure it's safe for her before she will come out from under the bed. When she does, just let her go where she wants to in the room without touching her, just watch her from a distance. In time, she will come to you on her own terms to be petted. She will eat when she is not as nervous as she is now. Don't worry about it, just make sure food is available to her and let her come out when she is ready.
