How far and what direction does the decimal move?

1. From meters to centimeters?

2. From micrometers to milliliter?

3. From centimeters to kilometers?

4.From micrometers to megameters?

5. From kilometers to centimeters?

1. To change liters to milliliter, how do you move the decimal?

2. Convert 12 liters to milliliters

3. To change megameters to meter, how do you move the decimal?

4. Convert 3 megameters to meters.

  1. when you are going from bigger things to smaller things, move the decimal point to the right; when you are going from smaller things to bigger thins, move the decimal point to the left.  There are going to be a whole lot more centimeters in a meter so it will be a bigger number. so technically 39.0 meters would be 390.0 centimeters, etc
