I need help with my college planning profile...?

What is the difference between a

state college

private college

commuity/junior college

Technical college

Trade/vocational college

theyre asking me to pick which type of college i would like to attend and i dont know even what they mean .

ANy help would be greatly appreciated :)

state college is like public school..its cheaper for in state residents and in some states offers good programs. private college is just that. its a private institution whos admission standards are typically higher and requires more money for tuition. the former two are often for higher degrees and specialized fields. community college are usually attended by students local to the are and are cheap, commonly used for undecided majors or core class credit. and tech are for mechanical fields with many different courses with( typically) hands on requirements (mechanic, electrition, contractor, etc.) same goes for vo tech but vo tech has more an array of vocations.
