  1. Probably spyware and other junk. Start backing up. You will probably need a fresh install pretty soon. I would also try deleting some programs you do not use anymore and see if it helps. Try downloading avg and see if it can help you get rid of some of the spyware and maybe viruses. AVG may not be the best but it is FREE.

  2. look if you want an antivirus that doesn't suck and it STILL is free then go for Avast! antivirus. follow this URL and it'll be there to download http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-... hope you fix it alright!

  3. you might have a virus

or you might need to clean up ur pc

go to internet settings and delet cokkies and \file

  4. You may have a bad case of trojans, i reccomend you download and sacn your computer with Xoft Spy, works wonders, also it could be due to a damaged registry so i alwso reccomend a registry cleaner/repair. Whatever you do don't use AVG antivirus, it sucks and never picks up half the bad things your computer is carrying.

  5. Definitely perform both a virus and spyware scan (they are different things) Spyware really degrades your system's performance trying to send you advertisements, pop-ups and trying to track your browsing.

Avast and Avira are pretty good virus scanners that have free versions.  You can also use commercial products like Kapersky or NOD32.

For cleaning spyware, try Spybot Search & Destroy.  It gets rid of many nasty programs which can slow even the fastest systems to a crawl.

  6. It's really impossible to diagnose a problem with description like that. It's like you're saying I'm sick...You have to give more details.

  7. Using a registry cleaner can clean up your computer and then make your computer faster,Why?the reason is that there may be some registry errors and remnant, corrupt files and temp files in your computer to cause "computer slow".

Every time you install and uninstall software on your computer and surfing online you create junk in the computer registry.over time, the registry can grow to enormous proportions, especially if the various programs you've installed do not do a good job of deleting and/or updating it's Registry entries. You need to scan and clean your computer with registry cleaner to make it fast.Good Registry Cleaner will improve your computer and Internet performance dramatically!

There are some comparison and review of TOP 5 registry cleaners.

You can download and scan your computer for free.

  8. run a virus scan.

    do a disk defragment.

clean out your cookies, and perhaps try removing some of the programs you no longer use anymore.
