Ok. I just recently started to wear contacts like 2 days ago, and I'm loving it! I only have one concern though. Just last night when I recently changed my contacts, as I was starting to clean one, it fell in my bath sink. The sink wasn't filled with water, So I just quickly took it out and re-cleaned it with the cleaning solution. Is this ok? Should I throw it away? Or can I still use it without getting an infection? The brand I'm using is Acuvue. Help would be appreciated.

  1. its fine. the solution will get all the gunk off the contact.  if it falls on the ground, or in the sink, or anywhere it will be fine

  2. its fine if you cleaned it. I have worn them for 12 years

  3. it should be fine as long as you clean it really well. and if the sink wasn't toop increadibly dirty. i drop my contacts all the time and i've never had an infection. good luck!!

by the way acuvue is great that's what i use.

  4. You should be fine. I drop my contacts on our filthy counter all the time! Just rinse and rub with solution.

  5. If you cleaned it with solution, then it should be fine. I you see scratches or tears, then throw it away.

  6. I did the same except i dropped it on the floor. But since you cleaned it with the solution it should be fine, if your eyes start to get irritated, take it out right away and throw it away and wear glasses the rest of the day so your eyes can get better from the irritation.

  7. It will be fine since you immediately cleaned it.
