I need help with my costume? I don't know how to make a tail?

I'm making costumes for both me and my friend, and neither of us know how to make animal tails.

We're working on these ourselves, but my question is:

1. Does anyone know how to make a lion's tail? (The color is black, and I want it to actually look real.)

2. Does anyone know how to make a raccoon tail? (The color is green, and again I want it to actually look real.)

Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Use a pipe cleaner and cover it with the animal print material.  If you can't find a pipe cleaner long enough, you can extend the length by twisting short ones together like you would with a plastic bag tie.  I made my cat costume tail with a pipe cleaner and it was very flexible and light weight.  I covered it with the black fur material and put a white fur tip on it over the pipe cleaner, but you need to know how to sew.  Good luck!

Get some stockings and stuff them with tissues.
