  1. it should be a sea theme baby blue dark blue and green a turtle pinata and pizza and  gift bags mabye goodie bags with blue stuff in it oh and blue nail polish in each bag

  2. Sometimes beauty salons have birthday parties.  They do the girls nails and curl their hair.  You may want to look around at some salons and see if they do that.  Then when the girls are all made up have a photo shoot at the house with girlie hats and boas, some long Mardi Gra beaded necklaces.  You can buy hats at the dollar store and glue some feathers and big tacky rhinestones on them.  Take several group pictures but also take individual shots to give to them when you send the thank you cards.  Don't forget, when taking a group pic tell them you will take two shots.  The first one you want them to look nice, the second pic they can look crazy/goofy/funny whatever they like.

After all the pics are taken it's food time and cake.  Food can be finger sandwiches without the crust.  You can make some ham&cheese, some cheese alone,  ham alone, salami, whatever.  Also make some pigs in a blanket (kids love those).  Use glitzy picks on the food.

Perhaps you can do the nails and hair thing at home if you have friends to help you.  With 16 girls you would need at least 3 or 4 people doing nails and hair.  The girls can get a goodie bag during the party (Make sure you put name on bags) and have some lip gloss in them, something with a little color that would look cute for the picture.   This way you don't use the same lipstick/gloss on all the girls mouths.  While there's girls getting made up the rest can be applying their lip gloss and playing games.   One game can be dropping a ring in a jar.  Get an empty jar, like the RAGU sauces... you can decorate it with paint markers or glue fake stones.  Then have some cheap metal rings in each of the goodie bags....  The girls line up.. one stands in front of the jar and holds a ring about 5 inches in front of her face, from there she opens her hand letting the ring drop into the jar.  Three chances per girl.  You may want to have 2 jars.   Have fun!

  3. What is her favourite colour/hobbies/ etc.

This can help alot when it comes to helping make the perfect party.

Theres a company called like inflatables or something

they have great blow up stuff. my little cousin had a party with it

there was only one dunk tank and a jumpy thing

but it was pretty much the best party i ever attended as a kid .

You can also do a murder mystery theme or somethign liek that

and give everyone a new identityy

it would be fun but maybe a little confusing for an 11 year old ?

i also attneded a party whre there was a makeup fairy

she did everyones hair & makeup and we even got to keep the hair accesories we picked !!

    hope this helps :)

  4. What you could do is theme it American Idol and have three adults be Paula Randy and Simon and you could make contestant papers that they were like contestant #1 and such and for colors blue and black Oh and don't forget Ryan and you could tape record it and play it for everyone and eat popcorn and if some kids don't want to sing have them show a talent!!!

    Hope I could help!!!

  5. well to answer this question i would need to know your daughter. here's my attempt:

    try flowers

you can put the same kind on the cake, tablecloth and as decorations.

for colors you could use pink, red, white. or blue, purple, white. w.e.

you could find a ton of cool games to play online using google and make the dicisions with your daughter unless it's a suprize. see what she wants!

  6. you sould know what she likes and then she might like it if you gave her an i'pod nano.

  7. Miley Cyrus?

  8. I would have a slumber party! Each guest would be required to bring their own sleeping bag and pillow. You could start the party at dinner time with a barbeque. Kids love simple things like sausages in bread. Then some traditional games outside like musical chairs and pass the parcel. Then sing happy birthday and cut the cake. Then, as its getting dark, you move all the kids inside with some board games and the winners get a prize. To settle them down, get some popcorn and put on a girly movie (obviously with a rating suitable to the age). Parents can pick up their kids first thing in the morning.   Or you could just have a party with a theme like...fairies? or a dress up party!

  9. For colors, use her favorite colors.

Find a hobby she likes, and use that as a theme. Like a favorite movie or tv show, or if she likes Hannah Montana, use that as a theme.

For games, try a scavenger hunt around the yard or neighborhood if you can and have a door prize for the winner. You can play twister too.

  10. We are having a b-day party for my daughter this Sun.  We are having a Carnival Theme !!

The kids are going to play carnival type games to win prizes.  Instead of those corney little gift bags with junk in them..

We have a shooting range, fishing pond, guessing games, cake wheel ,etc.

We bought the prizes from Oriental trading and the local dollar store.

Everyone will get prizes but not necessarily the same.

  11. Seaworld

    Bonfante` Gardens

    Six Flags

    Game Works

Pirates of the Carribean- dress up as Pirates at the Harbor or Pier or make your backyard like a sunken ship with a treasure chest etc.

At the Beach- swimming, pizza, chips, soda/punch and cake

You can go to a Party Costume Store to find anything for a Theme and other suggestions. Make it different and unique so she can brag to her fellow schoolmates.

If she's graduating from 5th grade you could make it into a Grad party. My neice is 11 and she's graduating in June. Hope it turns out awesome.

Remember your guest list activites have to include boys interests if she invites them.

  14. pool party, Hannah Montana theme, sleep over, pink, yellow, bright colors, karaoke, treat bags, Hawaiian theme

  15. Candy theme: Pink tablecloths, pink and white balloons. Make candy bouquets for the tables with short wide mouth vase from the dollar store. Fill 1/3 with peppermint disks. Buy colorful lollipops and put in the vase. Make another one t he same but use candy sticks instead like cherry, lime, etc. You can attach bows to each one with a favor card that says your initial, 16 or thanks for coming to my sweet 16 and then after the party give them out as favors. Get personalized M and Ms to put in small favor bags. Get personalized hershey bar wrappers and little personalized stickers that go on the bottom of hershey's kisses. Buy plate size styrofoam 3 inch thick rounds and wrap in clear cellophane for a big hard candy decorations. you could put a wood dowel in one to make it a sucker. Play twister. For favors those candy necklaces, bracelets ands ring pops and candy lipsticks.

Luau, beach Hawaii: Orientaltrading has the coolest decorations and favors for this theme and the cutest tropical invitation in the bottle. Give your guests leis as they come in. Play Limbo, Hula hoop, and have a few grass skirts and everyone (including the guys) have to give hulaing a try. Again if you have room to do this at home or you can rent a small room.

Neon party.   Use neon colors and glow in the dark items.  Check  out lights that go in balloons, glow in the dark and neon things at Windy City Novelities.  Also, oriental trading, US Toy Company.  They have all kinds of glow in the dark stuff.

Movie party at home. Have a movie themed party. They sell decorations for this at oriental trading. com and you can also find some movie stuff on the hollywood sites I mentioned above. Watch a cool movie, have popcorn and all kids of candy and junk food. Make or buy pizza and have sundaes. Have a sleep over with the girls if you want. Have a dance if your have room.

There are a lot of themes depending on your style like country, rock and roll, etc.

For any theme you choose check out scene setters: http://www.4funparties.com/PRODUCTS/Deco...

These are huge plastic murals that make your theme looks so real. We have used these and love them and so cheap. You buy backgrounds and can add things to them.

    Party decorations:

shindigz, oriental trading, U.S. Toy Company, partycheap, and many, many more.

  16. playdium, rinx, rock climbing, rent a pool

  17. whether they are 4 or 40 you can never go wrong with pink and white for the colors. you can do a princess theme (thats what i just did for my kids 11th) and they always love to be a princess.

make it all about her with pinatas (sorry about the spelling) and fun games for the rest of them while she has a "throne" to herself and she is the main event of the day. FYI im 28 years  old so im not ancient so i know whats in with party's haha i have an 13 year old daughter and no complaints yet! hope this helped

  18. bowling

    six flags

    movies

    so fun girly place

    ask her urlesf

  19. You should have a makeover party!

  20. My daughter turned 12 just last month and I had her party at Michael's craft store. If you have one in your area, check it out. Very easy and the girls LOVED it. They have a craft available for every age and I am sure you will find something that she likes.

If all else fails, and this may be hard on you but alot of fun for her.. let her invite her friends over and let them do what girls like to do. Order pizza, let the watch a movie, paint nails, curl hair, listen to the radio and dance. Then when its time for cake and ice cream, make it sundae style. Lots of toppings and whipped cream, cherries, etc.

    Good luck.

  21. go for bright colors, musical chair is bst indoor game,n cook awsom food so tht she gt impress

  22. There are lots of good ideas here.  One thing to keep in mind is to not go too big for this birthday.  Anything you do now, you will have to top when she's 16.

I agree that you should theme it around her hobbies or favorite things.  Also, work it into her maturity level.  If you do makeovers, make sure it's ok with the guests' moms.  I would have fun doing everyone's nails for them, but that depends on how creative you are.

  23. POOL PARTY!

  24. awesome i no someone that's 11. buy her things you know she'll like. or clothes and shoes. get stuff her favorite colors. and don't put any baby c**p.

  25. Rent a bounce tent... they love those & it will keep them going for hours, it's not just something that will be gone in 15 minutes or so...

Also, get a slip n slide! Cheap! And loads of fun..

Finger food buffet, like make your own taco's or something easy and cheap like that! Just buy shells cheese & make some beef! .. Kids like doing that..

My little cousin had that at her party and she really liked it...

Just make it carefree and fun, you don't want to overdo it because then she will always try & compare it next year & want bigger and better things.. Simple & fun.. Hope this helped!

  26. make a huge scavenger hunt

  27. buy her a pony

  28. That really depends on what kinds of things she's into. But, one fun place to go if there is one there is :Incredible Pizza. Its WAY better than Chucke-e-cheese & its for ALL ages, you don't have to be little to love it. It has all sorts of games to play, even has bumper cars & race cars inside!! They serve pizza, pastas, salads, desserts, etc.

As far as themes go, like I said it depends on what she is into but theres Hanna Montana, a 50's dress up, "dress up as your favorite" (whatever there fav is), medieval dress up, hawian theme, etc

  29. toooooooooooooooooooys

  30. Martha's got it all...

  31. Princess party!

Have them make their own crowns (or those pointy hats with ribbons on the top).

    The boys can be knights.

The can break a dragon pinata with a sword.

Bury fake gems in a sandbox and let them find them.

For the goody baskets put a little unicorn, plastic jewel ring and other princess stuff in the goody bags.

The boys can get little plastic dragons and swords and stuff.

And of course the cake could be shaped like a castle.
