I'm an 8th grader who is going to the neighboring high school for math. I go their first period by myself. So on the first day do you just sit down where ever or what. I don't know anyone in the class. I don't know why this bothers me so much but it does. Thank you in advance.

  1. Go into the classroom and do whatever everyone else is doing. That's what I always do on my first day in college! I don't know anyone in the class - imagine doing that for 5 separate classes twice every year! That's what college is like : ) Anyway, try to spot the people in class you would like to get to know and sit close to them. Makes it easier.

  2. Just go into the room and look around. If the other kids are sitting, then you set down. It's like any other grade.

  3. Don't stress yourself out. If you don't know, don't be afraid to ask. You don't wanna look silly.

  4. when you get there just go with the flow, find your class and go sit by some other kids and say "whats up" try to make some friends so it wont be so awkward
