I need help with my friends car!!!

It was working fine when she drove it to work today and then when to leave to go home my friends car wont even turn over.... the lights are all working but it wont turn over at all you can even here a click absolutely nothing... does anyone know what this might be?

It could be the reset button if equipped or blown fuse that is ware i would start.if that don't work it might be the starter or in line fuse by the battery. GOOD LUCK!

could be a number of things. Bad starter, bad connection, bad neutral safety switch, bad battery. Its impossible to tell you whats wrong with absolute certainty with just what info we have.

If it is a manual transmission make sure the clutch is pressed all the way to the floor, there is a switch on the clutch that allows the starter circuit to complete and sometimes they slip a little and you have to push the clutch further than you are used to.

Okay, First things first, check to see if the engine can be turned over manually. This is not to start it, just to see if the engine isn't looked up. I don't know your knowlege of cars so if you have more questions e-mail me. To turn it manually you have to attach a rachet to the big bolt ( usally a 21mm or 19mm) on the boss pully at the bottom of the engine and ratchet it clockways. Make sure the car has the parking brake on and the car is in nutral. The engine should turn. That way you know it hasn't locked up. Next you see if it's the battery ( take it to an auto parts store and have them check it for free) and then check the alternator (same story as the battery, auto parts store). Every ones wrong ans stuiped

It's the starters silonoid....either its stuck on the flywheel or the silinoid is bad.... try putting it in nuetral, roll it a little bit than throw it in gear...if it doesnt work you need to get your starter fixed
