I need help with my girlfriends computer please?

Question

When she turns on the computer like normal it will go through the whole loading thing but when it tries to load windows it shuts down or it will start all over.Then wwhen it starts over it will ask if she wants to do the windows restore and when she clicked on it it started over again.she has vista and an acer laptop.

I hope that was enough info for help.

It sounds like a corrupted system.  You're going to have to reinstall.  If you don't have a data backup, then you'll either lose all your stuff or you need to pull the hard drive out, attach it to another computer (either internal or external) and get your data first.

Sounds like a virus - try booting in safe mode and see if it still restarts.
