I need help with my hair. ?

Question

I am getting a haircut Monday and I don't know what i should get. I do not want it short! Right now its a little wavy and a few inch's past my shoulder. And EXTREMELY thick. I do not want anything short but i want something that will look nice. My face is kinda round.

you should get layers in your hair if you like your hair really thick you could get highlights they thicken up your hair

Have your stylist thin it out a bit with sheers.There not scissors its a blade.This will give you more volume ,yet keep the hair in place.Then have it maybe a bit layered That will make it feel much less thick .This will be awesome.i think.If you say that's the shape of your face if you don't well like it in which you should get a layered cut that frames your face.

Um... my face is round also. What I did was get bangs, and a medium/ shoulder length haircut (compared to down to my waist, which looked fine too.)

I would do bangs (right or left, whichever suits you best) and a trim. Nothing too big if you do sports or dance. You'd want to be able to put it in a ponytail or pin it back, and this cut will let you do so.

my hair used to be pretty thick-- get lots of layers... but tell your hair stylest to not make it look like a mushroom top. a couple highlights would make it look even nicer-- get bedhead product, to smooth it down. and make it look glossy straightning your hair everyday is bad but sometimes it can make your hair a little thinner use lots of conditioner!
