Question:

I need help with my hit?

so im a middle blocker and i really want to practice on my hit

its not that i dont have a good hit its just kinda week..link strong,but not a lot of power behind it

what are some simple things i can do to improve the power in it without being at a court(my teams off for 2 weeks and theres no way i can get to a court or gym or anything,just my backyard)

and i have ppl that can help me too if u say i need someone to help too

  1. i'm also a middle blocker, and i'm tall and thin so my hits weren't very powerful at the beginning of the summer when I started training. I started weight lifting and after a week or two I noticed a huge difference in my serves and hits. You could get some weights and start doing sets whenever get the chance. but you basically just have keep hitting and trying and you will start to improve.


  2. its not always how strong you are that depends on how hard your hit is. you might want to make sure when you hit you get your elbow up and swing all the way through. make sure you snap your wrist and explode on your approach. it also helps to have a fast arm swing. you can practice your arm swing by just hitting a ball against the wall.
