A few weeks ago I bought a new pair of 100% cotton pants for my husband to wear to work. They are supposed to be wrinkle free and ready to wear out of the dryer...but they are not!! I have to starch and iron them every time he wears them. As soon as he sits down in them it looks like I haven't touched them. Its so aggravating!! Any advice on how to build wrinkle resistance? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

  1. if the pants are 100% cotton the are not wrinkle free you are suppose to wash them in cold water and hang them to dry to prevent them from shrinking , and you are suppose to iron them as well .

Any natural fibre will wrinkle , such as Cotton, linen, silk just to name a few.

If you want wrinkle free pants, always look for some polyester included .

It doesn't take much time to iron a pair of pants, spray a bit of water on them before ironing , aside from that I really like men's pants to have a crease in them, they look neat that way.

  2. I've bought my husband some wrinkle free pants before and they come out of the dryer perfect.  (I hate ironing!)  If they said that they were wrinkle free and they aren't, I'd take them back and tell them you're dissatisfied.  If it says they're wrinkle free then they should be.
