I went to my cousins house and plugged my ipod in her computer and all of her songs loaded on my ipod and i like the songs. The problem is that if I plug my ipod on my computer it will probably delete all the songs i got. Is there a way that i can have songs from another computer but still load some of the songs that i have on my itunes. Please help ASAP!!!

  1. Nope. Your iPod takes one playlist on whatever computer it's loaded into and carries it. Once you put it back into your computer, your iPod will carry only your songs. Don't be cheap. Just buy the songs you like on iTunes and put it on your iPod playlist.

  2. go into your ipod on itunes and check off the automatic sync on the first page.

make sure manually manage songs is checked

  3. Yes, it's fairly easy to do. You have to enable your ipod as a storage device first.

    1. Plug in your ipod, iTunes will prompt that your ipod has been synced with another computer and ask you whether you want to erase it and sync with your current iTunes. Click on No for the time being

    2. In iTunes, Under "Devices" click on your iPod and tick on the "Enable Disk Use"

    3. Open My Computer, and now you should see your iPod as a removable drive, double click it

4.Now, here's an important step, you need to click on the "iPod_Control", normally you'd not see it coz it's hidden so you need to make it visible. Here's how: all the way on the top of the window, click on "Tools">"Folder Options">"View" tab. You'll see the "Hidden Files and folders" check on "Show hidden files and folders" finally l**k "Apply" then "Ok"

    5. Check it again and you should see the "iPod_control" folder, now click on the "Music" folder

    6. All the folders that store the songs should be in there

7.Drag them all the folder and drop 'em onto iTunes. Now you should have both your friend songs with your old songs

    8. Now it's safe to erase your ipod and re-sync with your iTunes coz you have transfer both your old songs and your friend's songs onto it.

If you find it confusin', contact me i'll do my best to help

                           PEACE

  4. You might try burning the songs you want from her computer onto a CD, and then rip those songs from the disc onto your iTunes library. That should work.
