I need help with my ipod touch!!!

Question

about 2 months ago i left for my summer vacation before i left my ipod was working great!! i have never had any problems with it at all . When i arrived back home about 2 weeks ago i hooked my ipod up to my computer i had just downloaded a tun of great new songs.. when i hooked it up it showed on my ipod that it was connected but the device was not found on my computer or on itunes ...

i went to the apple website and i went threw all the steps nothing seems to work !! what do i do to fixx it ??

try jail breaking it

normally the only time it does that is if you (or if someone else) plugged in a different ipod to your library than its reconizing a different ipod and thats why yours isn't working
