  1. She is a toddler, she is going to be getting into everything and you have no right to hit her period.  Where are your parents?  Why isn't your mother watching your sister?  And toddlers aren't interested in growing up to be fat dull witted couch potatoes so television isn't going to entertain her.  She gets into things because she is bored...PLAY with her.  Stop blaming your little sister for no one disciplining her.  She is a toddler, she doesn't know how to raise herself.  That's what parents are for.  I really feel sorry for this little girl, she has no one who is interested in teaching her how to grow up to be a productive member of society and she is going to grow up to be a brat.who is probably going to be more trouble as she gets older.

  2. Put her in the high chair and give her crayons and paper to color on while watching the movie.

  3. where are your parents? It sounds like she needs attention. Play with her for awhile and get her interested in something else. Get her a BIG piece of paper and some crayons and tell her to draw a picture of you, then a picture of grandma, then a picture of the dog, of the house, of her favorite doll, etc. Have her make a sculpture for you with playdough. Let her know she is making something special and give her lots of praise and she will want to do it again. It will keep her busy as long as YOU let her know it is special.

A normal toddler does not want to sit down and watch TV for long periods of time. They don't have that kind of attention span.

  4. Toddlers do that. You can't really stop them. The only thing you could really do would be to move everything you don't want her to have up and out of her reach. My little brother is two, and he won't sit still to watch TV either-its the age. She should have toys of her own... keep some of those in your room. But like I said, there really isn't any thing you can do to keep her from messing with things. Toddlers are learning about the world, and want to explore and touch every thing they can get their little hands on. Don't punish her for it!
