I need help with my mac mini.....?

Question

my dad got me a mac mini this week but hes out of town so i am staying with my mom until tuesday. I am having very frustrating problems with updating on sites and emailing on my yahoo mail. for face book: i cant update my status, add friends, edit friend details, or anything that has to do with changing any information. it says error during process no matter how matter how many times i restart it.

You shouldn't need to restart your Mac mini to update your Facebook status since the web has nothing to do with your Mac mini. Normally a page refresh or log in log out should do that.

If you are using Safari check that you have Java scripts enabled in Safari preferences.
