  1. i think she probably see a trend starting and she is trying to stop it before it drops too much and you fall way behind! face it! if she didn't love you she wouldn't care

  2. Parents always want you to do better than they did.  Are you working as hard as you can on your grades?  Then your mom should be satisfied.  Are you letting your studying slip?  Then you need to step it up a bit.   Don't be satisfied with the minimum to get by.  Do the best you can and you can be proud of yourself.  I never heard anyone say they should have studied less when they were in school.

  3. Don't keep your grades up for your parents sake! Do it for yours!

My parents never cared about the grades I made in school and as a result I didn't care and graduated with a 2 point something GPA (not much chance of getting into college with that!). After school, I worked in restraurants where you work like a mule for very little money. I then joined the military which was a great experience and met my husband and had children. I matured then and realized I needed more in life for my family. I went to college with 4 young children. I wentt all the way to a Masters degree. Mind you that is 6 years of school with kids all under 11.  I graduated with a 3.45 GPA.

If I had high school to do over again, it would have made my life a lot easier if I had took it upon myself to care about my grades.

Therefore, I push my kids to have higher grades and to maintain them. I use a reward system though and not punishment. All 4, maintain A's and do above commended on there TAKS test. They love school and we all have alot to be proud of!

Your parents are probably just concerned that you might make the same mistakes they did. Bare with them and try to do your best. If you feel you need extra help with something, do not be afraid to ask for it. Most teachers are more than willing to go the extra mile!

    Good Luck!

  4. SAME HERE!! Whenever I get an A-, she gets SOO angry. Sometimes so much she forgets to make dinner. I have to make it myself. She always got like Bs and Cs.

  5. Its okay, yeah, my parents, especially my dad, is like that, too. But not as much. They just care about you and are thinking about your future (i know, crazy, rite?). But just try your hardest. Its almost summer! Explain this to her, and tell her:

    1. You are TRYING

    2. You are sorry if she feels like you are a bad person, but that is totally not true b/c you got a good grade just ___ long ago.

    3. Tell her that you know that she is just worried about your future, but bs are fine and cs are a warning.

    DON'T:

    1. dont Say, "well soandso's mom doesnt care'. YOUR mom doesnt care about the,

    2. dont yell

    3. dont end it in tears

    good luck! best wishes :D

  6. your mom knows you are doing better than what she did she just wants the best for you that's all. remember after all even though you make not like it sometimes mom knows best for you
