I need help with my new Blackberry and my contact list from my old phone, please?

I saved all my contacts from my old phone to the SIM card. I put it in and when i go to the address book on my blackberry, nothing. But, i know its there, SOMEWHERE, because when i go to make a call and i type in the number manually, it will say the name of the contact. like if i go to call my boyfriends phone, i will type in his number, but then it will say "jeff"

but i diont understand if it knows my contacts when i make a call,, why they wont show up in my address book. are they somewhere else?

how do i get them to go to my address book?

Katie,  

When you are in your address book on the blackberry, click the menu and select "SIM Phone Book".

That should switch you to the SIM's phone book. Then you can click the menu again and "Copy ALL to Address Book" which will copy all your SIM contacts to your regular address book.
