  1. ok i have 2 anoles and those are not eggs they have to be in the perfect habitat to breed and if you got it a carnaval theres a good chance they have had them for awaile  im not sure what it could be

  2. read this

also by the sounds of it u haven't got your vivarium set up correctly the need a tall tank with lots of climbing and hiding places

argh i also hate they give out reptiles as "prizes" now

  3. put the eggs in a plastic container with a hole in the top. fill the container with moist peat moss. the moms dont care for their babies, so dont worry. the baby anole will be healthy. when its born, you dont have to get another anole, because you will already have two.

  4. Ok, there's a lot of stuff wrong before I talk about the egg.  Each anole needs to have atleast 10 gallons of space.  1 anole at least a10 gallon cage, 2 anoles, at least 20 gallons, but more is better, they need a heat lamp, a regular light bulb will do fine, they need a uv bulb (ex. repti glo 5.0) or something like that, you need substrate organic potting soil is great, they needs lots and lots of foilage (plants), they like to be up in the air so a log on the bottom of the cage won't do much, you need a thermomoter (you can get one at Lowes for about $10 and it has two thomoters, and measures humidity, one side of the tank has to have a basking spot, 85-90 degres, the other side a cool spot about 75-80 degres, the humidity should be around 50% and you need to mist the cage a few times a day.  Anoles may seem like cheap pets but they're not when you take care of them properly.

As for the egg, you can put it in pet moss in an incubator, or container, or keep it in the anole cage, and if you have the cage set up properly, the egg should be ok, but you have to have the temp, humidity correct, and you must buy a uvb bulb.

I hope this helps, sorry for any typos

  5. It can be unfertilized. But put the eggs in a tub. Dont turn it you can kill the hatchling. Put it in your closet.

  6. if you have a light in there you should point it on the egg and i wouldn't get a friend for her a untill the egg hatchs and the baby grows older.
