  1. i didnt know fish get preggerz!!! whoa!

  2. You can put them in a smaller tank but be sure you have exact water perimeters as the tank you take them out of.They get picky and do hold them. The gravid spot usually gets a reddish brown or lighter in color about 48 hours before birthing fry.The dark just means they have been bred.Don't forget Mollies need some salt, sea salt is best if not then plain table salt with no iodine. You can also take a small thin piece of gauze and a rubber band and wrap the bottom of your pump tube so they will not get sucked up in there.Since we don't know when your fish may have been bred we can't tell you that, just watch the gravid spot and take note of changes. But I have found a well planted tank with many hiding spots works best you won't get as many fry but they will have no stress. They stop eating them after about 3 days.If you want most of your babies other tank is wat to go take out mama as soon as you know she is done she will eat them too.

you can buy it at petsmart. when the mother gives birth in the breeder tank thingy it has a ''v'' divider  and the fry drop between and saves them from the mother. it only costs 4 $ at petsmart..u should buy it asap...i have one my record for my guppy babys is 52 and i still have them there 2 years old and there almost full adults. i would highly recommend this product. it saves babys and it saves u money. do u have food for the babys??? if not buy  this alos at petsmart...

good luck... did u know the gestation period of a guppy is 21-30 days, with an average of 28 days. After the female guppy is inseminated, a dark area near the a**s, known as the gravid spot, will enlarge and darken. Guppies prefer water temperatures of about 27 °C (82 °F) for reproduction. The female guppy has drops of between 2-100 fry, typically ranging between 5 and 30. From the moment of birth, each fry is fully capable of swimming, eating, and avoiding danger. After giving birth, the female is ready for conception again within only a few hours. In fact, guppies have the ability to store sperm, so the females can give birth many times, after only once breeding with a male.

Young fry take roughly one or two months to reach maturity. In the aquarium, they are usually fed ground flake foods, baby brine shrimp or unless they are put in a separate tank, the babies will eat uneaten food from the adults. In addition, they nibble on algae.

  4. you can put them in another tank until they give birth or u can get a smaller tank with a top and put it in the same one
